IVI produces everything in a factory located in Arezzo, a beautiful city in Tuscany. Arezzo is historically known for being one of the most important cities in jewelry production. The owner of the factory is Gabriele Veneri. Gabriele is a lifelong metal manufacturer, second generation to his father Carlo Veneri who has been a pioneer in the industry.
What materials we use.
Rhodium plated sterling silver. This is 925 sterling silver plated with Rhodium. Rhodium finishes can greatly enhance the appearance and longevity of the sterling silver. Rhodium belongs to the platinum group of metals. As an expensive metal only a thin plate is applied to reduce the amount of metal in the jewel. If not subject to excessive friction and wear, rhodium plated sterling silver jewelry will retain it's look indefinitely. It looks like white gold jewelry because white gold is also plated with rhodium.
18K Gold Plated Silver We use 925 Sterling Silver as the base of our jewelry and plate it with 1-2 microns of 18K Gold. We make sure that our plating technique is durable enough to withstand the everyday use of our jewelry pieces.
